The Institute
S.D. College of Engineering & Technology has been promoting the cause of technical education in western U.P. since 1997. In this short span of 11 years SDCET has made it presence felt in imparting quality education and thereby enhancing suitable technical manpower for more than 400 industrial unit of Meerut – Roorkee –Haridwar industrial belet and another industries in the country.

SDCET is affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Location SDCET is located on Muzaffarnagar - Jansath Road at about 2 Km distance from the heart of the city, Muzaffarnagar is well connected to Lucknow, Allahabad, Delhi, Meerut, Roorkee, Panipat, Bijnore etc. by Train and Bus routes.

SDCET was established by the Sanatan Dharma College Association, Muzaffarnagar a pioneer registered educational society. The society has been paying a vital role in promoting the cause of education in this region. At present it is running 15 prestigious technical and non technical educational institutions, which include a medical institute, a college of Pharmacy, Engineering College, Polytechnic, Degree College, two inter College, yoga institute and several others. The society has also established a management institute duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow.

A great visionary, Late Shri Mahendra Kumar Ji Advocate was the founder chairman of the college who had a vision to spread the light of education in the western UP succeeded by Shri Deepak Kumar Ji, as secretary, the mission of quality education continues and is scaling new heights.

Distinguished scholars and educationists in the fields of engineering and various disciplines of science and some prominent industrial organizations like star wire India, Gulshan Sugar & Chemicals Ltd, Nazar Chemicals etc. are on consultant cum advisory council of the college to develop it into one among the best seats of learning in the country.

Dr. S.N. Chauhan, an eminent educationist and administrator is the director of SDCET. During his tenure SDCET has employed a highly qualified and experienced faculty comprising of professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers, Visiting Experts etc. dedicated to the cause of value based education.

Achievements of the Students
Results of SDCET Muzaffarnagar have been excellent. Our students obtained Ist & IInd Position in the university in last three years and got GOLD MEDLS and scholarship from the university.
